Pilates

  • True Beginners - introduction to the flow series, with explanation and practice.

  • Exploration Level – Continued study of the flow series, with focus on breath work, control and body awareness.
     
  • Flow Series – Fast-paced class for those who have developed strength and knowledge.

  • Older Adult Pilates – A complete introduction and regular practice of technique, with attention to each participant's abilities and needs.

 


 

Older Adult Strength Training
Ages 55 and Up

  • Level I - Using exercise bands and hand-held weights, learn to maintain and increase your strength and protect your bones from osteoporosis. Classes emphasize flexibility, range of movement, posture and balance.

 

Stretch & Core Fitness - Ongoing
Beginner to Seasoned Practitioner

  • This 85 -minute class begins with a warm-up of core strengthening exercises, followed by centering breath work, and then progresses to fitness stretches and yoga postures that promote balance, calmness and relaxation.  Class ends with a final meditation.  Great for weekend warriors!
